Chicken Feeders and Drinkers

Automatic Chicken Feeders

A chicken feeder helps make looking after your livestock easier. Chickens are likely to come back and forth to feed throughout the day. Unfortunately, as they can't be potty trained, they're also likely to defecate anywhere it's easy to. It's the reason that besides being really convenient for chicken keepers, they're also a great tool to help keep chickens healthy.

Our range of chicken feeders in Australia starts from 1.5kg and goes up to 9kgs. Chicken drinkers start from 1L and go all the way up to 14L.

How to use automatic feeders for chicken

Hang the part that contains the food or water so that it hovers off the ground to help protect the main supply (and what is in the tray) from contamination. But not too high so that the base or feeder dish is in range for hungry or thirsty chickens to get to it. The process is the same for chicken water feeders.

Giving your chickens a continual flow of food from the top without having to refill so consistently.

The plastic parts on the bottom of the design also help segregate the grain, so there's less chance of chooks flicking seeds out from the tray, meaning less feed wastage so more can go around.
