Outdoor dog kennels for sale

Finding the right den for your dog

Need some help when it comes to choosing the right dog kennel for sale?

When it comes to outdoor dog kennels, there are three main types: metal, plastic and wooden. Each has its own set of advantages and disadvantages that you'll need to consider before making a purchase.

Metal outdoor dog kennels are typically the most affordable option, but they're also the least durable and can rust over time if not properly cared for. Plastic dog kennels are more durable than metal ones, but they're often not as strong or sturdy. Wooden dog kennels are the most expensive option, but they're also the most attractive and tend to last the longest if properly maintained.

Size Matters

When choosing an outdoor dog kennel, size is another factor that definitely matters. You'll want to make sure that the kennel is big enough for your pet to move around comfortably, but not so big that they feel lost and small in it. A good rule of thumb is to get a kennel that's at least 10% larger than your dog's body size. We have small, medium and large dog kennels to give your dog a house that’s best sized for their build.

Location is Key

Where you put your dog kennel is also important for your dog. Choosing a spot that's out of the way of foot traffic is best, so your pet doesn't feel overwhelmed or anxious by all the activity. You'll also want to make sure that the location receives enough sunlight during the day so your pet doesn't get too cold, but not so much sun that the kennel gets too hot. And lastly, you'll want to make sure that the location is level, so water doesn't pool up inside the kennel during rainfall.
