Best dog beds in Australia

How to choose the best dog bed for your dog

There are a lot of factors to consider when choosing a pet bed, but if you take the time to find the perfect one for your furry friend, they'll love you for it! From size and shape to sleeping style and joint support, there's a dog bed out there that's just right for every pooch. And at OzDingo, we've got a wide selection of the best dog beds in Australia—so you're sure to find one that's perfect for your pup.

Size Matters

One of the most important things to consider when choosing a dog bed is size. You want to make sure the bed is big enough for your dog to comfortably lay down in but not so big that they feel lost in it. If you're not sure what size bed to get, err on the side of too big rather than too small—your dog can always curl up in a corner if the bed is too large, but they won't be able to stretch out and relax if it's too small.

Consider Their Sleeping Style

Another thing to keep in mind is your dog's sleeping style. Do they like to curl up into a ball when they sleep or do they prefer to stretch out? If they like to curl up, a round or oval-shaped bed will be ideal. If they prefer to stretch out, a rectangular bed will give them plenty of room to do so.

Think About Their Joints

If your dog is getting older or has joint pain, you'll want to look for a dog bed that offers some extra support. Orthopaedic beds are designed specifically for dogs with joint pain and can help relieve some of their discomforts. They're typically made from memory foam, which contours to your dog's body and provides support where they need it most.
